Salary: $21–$30 per hour, plus bonus opportunities

What you will do
- Recognize medical emergencies and illnesses, assess patients, and record vital signs.
- Assist doctors with diagnostics, radiography capture, treatments, and patient monitoring.
- Provide basic husbandry, nursing care, and compassionate support for patients.
- Prepare samples for outside reference laboratories and run in-house laboratory tests.
- Prepare and administer medications as instructed by the doctor.
- Work tele-triage shifts for an additional stipend and help maintain a hospitable practice environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a veterinary assistant.
- Availability to work Saturdays and weekends as required.
- Knowledge of medical emergencies and illnesses, patient assessment, diagnostics support, and nursing care.
- Comfort with computers and online tools.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Strong client communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach.
