Senior Principal, Corporate Ventures

Salary: $184,000–$245,500 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Drive the venture investment process across Series A/B startups, including sourcing, due diligence, risk assessment, partnership definition, deal execution, and portfolio management.
• Build startup and venture capital pipelines across semiconductor, electronics, and emerging application domains.
• Develop value-accretive partnerships between startups and hirify.global business units.
• Analyze approximately 200–300 startups annually, conduct management presentations, and lead due diligence and partnership processes.
• Present investment opportunities to the Ventures Investment Committee and report portfolio health and value creation to executive and business stakeholders.
• Define exit strategies, investment stage gates, risk mitigation plans, and portfolio value-creation frameworks.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in technology, materials science, chemical engineering, business, accounting, economics, or strategy; technology or materials candidates should also have an MBA.
• 12–15 years of experience in high technology, business development, or finance.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate strategy, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital.
• Strong understanding of or direct experience in corporate venture capital, with a successful business development or M&A track record.
• Advanced financial modeling, analytical, data, technology, strategic planning, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
