Senior Associate, Sponsor and Specialty Finance - Technology & Infrastructure (Fintech)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Base pay: $101,250–$165,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of high-level banking credit relationships.
• Underwrite loan requests, negotiate credit terms, lead deal-screen and loan-approval discussions, and close approved transactions.
• Prepare high-quality underwriting documents, deal-screen memos, term sheets, and legal documentation.
• Analyze credit risks and mitigating factors, identify policy variances, and assign accurate risk grades.
• Complete renewals, annual reviews, and interim portfolio analyses in collaboration with Risk Management.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, federal regulations, Credit Risk Review, Audit, and OCC requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• 9+ years of experience in credit structuring, underwriting, and cross-selling.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial statement modeling.
• Strong credit judgment and the ability to evaluate a wide range of credit profiles.
• Ability to produce concise, well-reasoned underwriting analysis under tight deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.
