Internship: Supply Chain Management

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; full-time hybrid, with part-time possible for at least 32 hours per week. Duration: 6 months. Start date: ASAP.

What you will do

• Create and maintain short-term demand forecasts using input from Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
• Analyze sales trends, promotions, product lifecycles, and customer behavior to improve forecast accuracy.
• Support new product introductions, phase-outs, and promotional volume planning.
• Monitor Amazon orders end to end, resolve fulfillment issues, and address root causes of delays and discrepancies.
• Track OTIF and other customer KPIs and identify actions to improve delivery accuracy and speed.
• Collaborate with planning, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and reverse logistics teams on operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program and remain registered as a student throughout the internship.
• Have at least four semesters of study, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Understand supply chain operations, including planning, warehousing, distribution, and reverse logistics.
• Demonstrate analytical ability in data interpretation, reporting, and root cause analysis, with strong Excel skills.
• Bring a proactive, hands-on, ownership-driven approach and strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English is mandatory. Students from outside the EU need an NUFFIC agreement signed by the student and university.

Nice to have

• Previous internship experience.
• Initial experience with an ERP system.
• German language skills.
