Sr Technician Equipment Engineering - PCS (Nights) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Malta, New York, United States; onsite at the Fab 8 semiconductor manufacturing facility

Salary: $48,200–$83,200 per year

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor, control, and test equipment to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Recover equipment after process interruptions, document events, and communicate end-of-shift handovers.
• Review Statistical Process Control charts and respond to out-of-control conditions and defects.
• Develop and improve operating procedures, support training, and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Work independently and with production teams and area engineers while following Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of maintenance-related experience.
• Electrical or mechanical experience supported by a 2-year technical degree, 2 years of relevant military experience, or 4 years of relevant practical experience.
• English fluency required for written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom, stand for extended periods during 12-hour shifts, lift equipment and tools, and work alternating day or night shifts.

Nice to have

• Four or more years of direct experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with automotive repair, HVAC, aviation, telecommunications, electrical work, or related technical fields.
