Equipment Maintenance Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Night Shift 6: nights from Wednesday through Friday and alternating Saturday nights.

Salary: $60,450–$99,770 annual target compensation for the US; hourly role.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Perform equipment setup, calibration, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs across wet chemistry, plating, and dry high-vacuum toolsets.
• Monitor tool performance, analyze data, identify root causes, and implement reliability and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams on equipment modifications, tooling, fixtures, installations, and process improvements.
• Document maintenance activities, repair findings, parts usage, and equipment evaluations.
• Support cleanroom operations, quality escalations, and off-shift engineering evaluations while following safety procedures and wearing required cleanroom attire.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field plus 1+ year of relevant experience; or an associate degree in a technical field plus 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED plus 4+ years of hands-on manufacturing or military technical experience.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED plus 2.5+ years of equipment maintenance or closely related technical experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Phoenix and on the specified night-shift schedule.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
