Location: Santa Clara, California, or remote within the United States. Remote employees must travel to headquarters twice per quarter based on business or team needs, and must work in person at the Santa Clara headquarters during the first two weeks of onboarding. Only applicants who meet the definition of a U.S. person under applicable export control laws may be eligible.
Salary: $155,000–$185,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the commercial Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 9001.
- Translate customer, contractual, technical, regulatory, and internal requirements into scalable policies, procedures, workflows, tools, and controls.
- Coordinate interfaces between commercial quality and Nuclear Quality Assurance, including ownership, handoffs, escalation paths, and applicable requirements.
- Lead internal audits, management reviews, corrective actions, nonconformance control, root cause evaluations, and effectiveness reviews.
- Embed quality planning across engineering, procurement, supplier management, manufacturing, inspection, testing, delivery, and operations.
- Develop supplier quality controls, quality metrics, dashboards, training, and guidance for employees and leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, operations, manufacturing, or a related field, including at least 3 years leading a quality program or management system in a complex or regulated environment.
- Strong working knowledge and practical experience implementing, maintaining, improving, or auditing an ISO 9001-based QMS.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, operations, physical science, business, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without direct authority, manage competing priorities, and convert requirements into practical processes.
- Ability to work remotely with video conferencing and cloud-based applications and travel approximately 25% of workdays.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, electronic QMS platforms, document management systems, and data visualization tools.
Nice to have
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or ASQ certification, such as Certified Quality Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer.
- Experience in nuclear energy, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, defense, EPC, or another highly regulated and technically complex industry.
- Familiarity with ASME NQA-1, ANSI/ANS-15.8, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, or Department of Energy quality requirements.
- Experience integrating commercial and nuclear quality controls.
