Manufacturing Engineering Tech 3

Location: Methuen, Massachusetts, United States. Minimal travel is required; the role may involve supporting multiple MKS sites.

Salary: $22.50–$37.50 per hour, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Support the manufacturing floor by responding to unscheduled equipment issues and performing preventive maintenance.
• Use schematics, diagrams, and written or verbal descriptions to validate and troubleshoot equipment functions.
• Help determine corrective actions for equipment malfunctions and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Use manufacturing test, development, and diagnostic equipment, including tools requiring basic software skills.
• Manage lab and critical spare-parts inventory, identify automation and process-improvement opportunities, and support shipping and receiving across multiple sites.
• Manage production printers, maintain their preventive-maintenance process, and keep databases and records accurate.

Requirements

• AA degree, military technical training, equivalent vocational training, or related on-the-job experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with parts management, including procurement, shipping and receiving, or inventory.
• Relevant technician experience assisting with equipment repair or maintenance.
• Ability to collect and analyze basic experimental data and communicate results effectively.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
