Manufacturing Technician, Wed-Fri and every other Saturday

Location: Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite manufacturing environment. Schedule: Wednesday–Friday and every other Saturday.

Salary: $22–$26 per hour, depending on experience, plus shift differential.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, shut down, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment while meeting safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Analyze process and test data to improve product quality, yield, and production efficiency.
• Use HMIs, SCADA, and statistical process controls to identify and correct process shifts.
• Prepare raw materials, complete membrane batches, and manage inventory, process transactions, and quality records.
• Troubleshoot mechanical errors, safety issues, and operating inefficiencies with engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Support product and process development, equipment and process validations, SOP updates, continuous improvement, and operator training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow documented processes, procedures, work orders, specifications, and SOPs.
• Basic math, computer data entry, measuring device, and hand tool skills.
• Ability to lift materials, stand and walk throughout the shift, climb a ladder, and perform repetitive reaching, grasping, twisting, and bending.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical parts, electrical risks, moderate to high noise, metal powders, isopropyl alcohol, and deionized water.
• Ability to work onsite in Bedford, Massachusetts, including wearing required cleanroom and personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• At least one year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading, directing, training, or certifying other operators.
