EPS Manufacturing Technician (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Assemble stators and electric engine subassemblies using manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment.
• Perform winding, insulation, impregnation, mechanical assembly, and in-process and final inspections.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Design Engineering on equipment bring-up, process development, validation, and basic fixture or tooling builds.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Document deviations, inspection results, manufacturing parameters, and build issues in real time.
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, organized, and safe 5S work area.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing or production experience assembling mechanical or electronic components.
• Ability to follow formal work instructions and document deviations, build records, and process data using Excel or similar tools.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, measurement microscopes, or similar inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and basic drafting standards.
• Familiarity with LOTO, arc flash, ESD, 5S, and other manufacturing safety protocols.
• Employment is contingent on a background check and pre-employment and random drug screening; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• IPC certification or working knowledge of IPC standards.
• Experience with stator winding and insulation processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
