AIV/AIT Manager (M/F)

Location: hirify.global France in Toulouse, with hybrid working. Eligibility to work within Europe and obtain French security clearance is required.

What you will do

• Lead spacecraft and mission-level assembly, integration, verification, testing, and launch activities.
• Design, develop, and commission AIV/AIT test setups and infrastructure.
• Create and maintain AIV/AIT procedures, plans, workflows, and schedules aligned with technical and programmatic requirements.
• Contribute to bids, including AIV/AIT cost and schedule budgets, and support the overall industrial strategy and facilities management.
• Coordinate AIV/AIT activities across hirify.global group companies and represent the function in meetings, reviews, and technical discussions with suppliers and customers.
• Mentor engineers, maintain cost and budget traceability, and deliver creative, cost-effective engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Master’s, MSc, or higher qualification in a mechanical, electrical, or scientific field.
• 10+ years of experience delivering spacecraft or mission-level AIV/AIT activities across multiple mission types and manufacturers.
• Deep knowledge of AIV/AIT planning, processes, mechanical and electrical GSE development, setup and operation, and subsystem, system, and environmental testing.
• Understanding of spacecraft systems, interfaces, and operations.
• Fluent French and English.
• Eligible to work within Europe and obtain security clearance in France.

Nice to have

• Experience developing mechanical or electrical test infrastructure.
• Experience testing mechanisms and installing spacecraft MLI and harnesses.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards, automated testing tools, scripting languages, and environmental test campaigns.
• Interest in active space debris removal, traditional and new space missions, and innovative technologies.
