Reinsurance Implementation Project Manager

Location: Charleston, South Carolina, United States. The work model prioritizes in-person collaboration; occasional travel for customer workshops, governance meetings, training, or key milestones may be required.

Salary: $95,900–$178,100 annually.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end DXC Assure Reinsurance implementation, transformation, migration, and enhancement projects.
• Manage project plans, milestones, resources, budgets, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, change control, and delivery quality.
• Coordinate discovery, configuration, data migration, integrations, reporting, testing, training, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Serve as the primary delivery contact for customers and coordinate business, technical, product, cloud, data, and account teams.
• Drive governance through steering committees, executive reporting, decision tracking, escalations, and financial forecasting.
• Improve reinsurance delivery practices, templates, estimation methods, playbooks, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, insurance, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of relevant project or program management experience, including 3 years managing complex software implementation, systems integration, insurance technology, or enterprise application projects.
• Experience managing multiple delivery workstreams covering business analysis, configuration, migration, interfaces, reporting, testing, training, deployment, and cutover.
• Strong experience with scope, schedule, budget, risk, issue, dependency, change, financial, governance, and executive reporting.
• Experience with packaged enterprise applications, fit-gap management, configuration-led delivery, and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time zones and fluency with current AI capabilities for project planning and monitoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with DXC Assure Reinsurance, DXC Assure Cede, SICS, or another commercial reinsurance administration platform.
• Knowledge of assumed and ceded reinsurance, retrocession, proportional and non-proportional contracts, claims, technical accounting, cash settlement, reporting, and migration.
• Experience with SaaS, cloud, on-premises deployments, SAP BusinessObjects, APIs, general ledger interfaces, data warehouses, or third-party integrations.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, insurance, or reinsurance certifications.
• Experience mentoring project coordinators, junior project managers, or delivery team members.
