Implementation Project Manager (Fintech)

Location: US Remote

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end implementation projects from kick-off through testing, go-live, and transition to support.
• Create and maintain project plans, resource assignments, milestones, timelines, and project documentation using approved tools including Smartsheet.
• Act as the primary customer contact and communicate project status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and next steps.
• Coordinate Implementation Analysts and cross-functional resources to deliver milestones and resolve escalations.
• Track risks, issues, delays, scope concerns, implementation cases, and project administration activities in systems including Salesforce.
• Provide status, portfolio health, and escalation reporting while improving project management procedures and templates.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple complex implementation projects concurrently while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder needs.
• Strong customer expectation management, change management, risk communication, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization skills for maintaining accurate plans, documentation, action items, and status reports.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and adapt to changing project and business requirements.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of relevant experience leading enterprise software deployments.
• Experience with enterprise project management tools, especially Smartsheet.
• Familiarity with the mortgage industry, mortgage origination software, or fintech solutions.
• Experience using AI-powered tools such as Claude or Microsoft Copilot in project management, customer communication, documentation, or operational workflows.
