Training Manager (Autonomous Systems)

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Own customer and internal training strategy for operator, Train-the-Trainer, refresher, and sustainment programs.
• Design and evolve curricula combining classroom instruction, hands-on exercises, operational scenarios, assessments, and certification criteria.
• Oversee training materials such as instructor guides, slide decks, laboratory exercises, and assessments.
• Coordinate training delivery with trainers, Field Service Representatives, and subject matter experts.
• Support program kickoffs, site activation, deployment readiness, proposals, and sustainment planning.
• Build scalable processes and metrics for training intake, prioritization, readiness, completion, and customer enablement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or customer enablement.
• Experience leading teams and personally delivering technical training.
• Background in formal, corporate, or adult education, or equivalent experience building structured training programs.
• Ability to hire, evaluate, and develop training professionals.
• Ability to learn complex technical systems and translate them into effective instructional experiences.
• Strong cross-functional, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in autonomy, robotics, defense, or other complex technical domains.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD, regulated documentation environments, and technical documentation standards.
• Experience designing and delivering hands-on technical training.
