Senior Operations Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop and own factory layouts for new and existing facilities, including material movement, build flows, lifting and rigging solutions, and facilities requirements.
• Build data-collection and visualization tools, define operational KPIs, and improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
• Apply Lean, 5S, and Kaizen principles; perform time studies and implement workflow improvements.
• Create personnel-development tools and training materials covering safety, quality, productivity, and operational knowledge.
• Use MRP and ERP systems to support system enhancements and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Identify production bottlenecks and support capital projects, facility activations, automation, and new manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience developing and improving manufacturing and operations processes.
• Experience working in a software development environment.
• 5+ years of operations experience.
• Preferred experience includes aerospace manufacturing with metallic structures, manufacturing automation, and startup environments.
• Applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain an export license under applicable U.S. export regulations, including ITAR and EAR.
