  • Knowledge of fluids, thermodynamics, heat transfer, mechanics, and materials.
  • Ability to perform system trades, from thermal-fluids analysis to materials selection.
  • Hands-on experience designing, building, and working with fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain an export license under applicable U.S. export regulations, including ITAR and EAR.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering and 7+ years of aerospace propulsion experience.
  • Experience developing thrusters, valves, pressure vessels, saturated fluid systems, or other propulsion hardware under cost and schedule constraints.
  • Experience leading ground-test and flight-propulsion projects and executing high-pressure test procedures.
  • Experience with in-space propulsion mission analysis and on-orbit operations.
  • Familiarity with NASA and DoD propulsion standards, CAD tools, and fluids-analysis tools such as SINDA/FLUINT or GFSSP.

Culture & Benefits

  • Fast-paced, agile environment focused on clean-sheet spacecraft development.
  • Medical, vision, and dental coverage for eligible full-time hires.
  • Access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
