Principal Consultant (Financial Services)

Location: Hong Kong, hybrid

What you will do

• Deliver consulting services within financial technology implementation projects and build relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Execute implementation activities, configure products, and automate and optimize client workflows.
• Gather business requirements, communicate project status, and coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prepare system and data transition plans, including migration of historical data.
• Lead hands-on training, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support during go-live events.
• Support continuous improvement through analysis, disciplined time management, and independent learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or computer science.
• 10+ years of client experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong expertise in investment management, fund accounting, asset management, general ledger, and trial balance.
• Solid knowledge of client back-office workflows and operations.
• Working knowledge of Geneva and SS&C Recon, or expertise with similar systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English, strong communication and client management skills, and local APAC market knowledge.
