What you will do

• Concept, design, prototype, and test electrical systems for robotic automation products.
• Develop and maintain electrical interconnects, cable designs, PCBs, industrial panels, and control components.
• Integrate conveyors, robot arms, sensors, barcode scanners, VFD drives, safety controllers, and motor systems.
• Support the full electrical design lifecycle from ideation through production launch and deployed-system troubleshooting.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and manage production updates, including service bulletins.
• Collaborate on practical solutions for unclear technical problems in a product development environment.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field such as Mechatronics, Computer, Mechanical, Robotics Engineering, or Physics.
• At least eight years of relevant experience in material handling, process automation, piece-part automation, semiconductor, or related industries.
• Significant experience designing automation systems and bringing them into production.
• Experience with DC, analog, single-phase, and three-phase circuit design, including 220–480 V industrial electrical panels.
• Experience with motor architectures from 50 W to 3 kW, functional safety devices, and Safety Performance Level concepts.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical systems, sensors, mechanical systems, and controls logic, plus design experience meeting UL and CE standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, Altium, SolidWorks, or comparable CAD tools.
• Experience selecting and controlling BLDC, servo, stepper, and induction motors.
• Experience integrating retroreflective, inductive proximity, Reed switch, and load-cell sensing solutions.
