TL;DR
Electrical Engineer (Robotics) (PCB Design/Hardware): Designing and integrating electrical systems for personal robots, including rigid and flex PCBAs, sensing, networking, compute, and power distribution with an accent on high-speed design, validation, and production hardware. Focus on board and system bring-up, debugging field units, root cause analysis, and developing testing software for robotic platforms.

is developing personal home robots designed to automate repetitive household tasks and make generalized robotics broadly accessible.
What you will do
- Architect, design, and build rigid and flex PCBAs, including schematic capture, simulation, and board layout.
- Own board and system bring-up and integrate electrical systems into wearable and robotic platforms.
- Design and execute validation plans for boards and complete systems.
- Debug and triage units from the field and help identify root causes of electrical issues.
- Create and modify testing software for PCB assemblies.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams on sensing, networking, compute, and power distribution.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of electrical engineering experience; candidates at all levels are considered.
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with PCB design, including schematic capture, board layout, manufacturing, testing, and debugging.
- Experience taking at least one project from prototype through production.
- Experience with hardware validation cycles, laboratory bring-up, electronic-system debugging, measurement methods, root cause analysis, and manufacturing testing.
- Experience with high-speed design, wire harnesses, cabling, and connectors.
Nice to have
- Altium Designer experience and complex high-speed FlexPCB design.
- Familiarity with signal-integrity and power-integrity simulation tools.
- Experience with network analyzers, TDRs, and spectrum analyzers.
- Experience with MIPI, GMSL, DDR, PCIe, motor controllers, high-power PCBs, compute architectures, mainboards, networking equipment, or camera interfaces.
