Software Quality Engineer (Python/Robot Framework)

Location: Broomfield, Colorado, United States. On-site at the assigned location, with the possibility of working remotely up to 2 days per week with approval. Must be a U.S. Person and must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless also a U.S. citizen.

Salary: $132,000–$165,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain production software using Python and related technologies.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites with Robot Framework and Python.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve defects while implementing bug fixes and feature enhancements.
• Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, and product stakeholders on technical solutions and quality requirements.
• Contribute to feature design, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, engineering tooling, and technical documentation.
• Perform integration, regression, and system-level testing before software releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree minimum.
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• U.S. Person status is required, including U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, green card status, asylum, or refugee status.
• Applicants must not be People's Republic of China nationals or Russian nationals unless they are also U.S. citizens.
• Strong Python programming experience and experience with automated testing frameworks such as Robot Framework.
• Experience debugging complex systems, working in Agile environments, and collaborating across engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, Linux, PostgreSQL, Redis, InfluxDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Understanding of distributed systems, containerized applications, and modern software deployment practices.
