Vendor Manager / Vendor Recruiter (Localization)

What you will do

• Collaborate with Production and Sales teams to plan resourcing needs and manage vendor pool requirements.
• Search for, recruit, test, certify, and onboard localization vendors for specialized services and language requirements.
• Monitor vendor usage and quality performance, identify replacement needs, and promote qualified vendors to Production and internal linguist teams.
• Negotiate preferred vendor rates and recommend rate negotiation strategies based on department and project needs.
• Maintain relationships with contract vendors, Production staff, and global internal teams.
• Research localization market conditions, trends, competitive rates, and relevant industry developments while supporting process improvement and team training.

Requirements

• Native-level Korean and strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical ability, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle high volumes of information and requests accurately.
• Strong negotiation skills and a proactive approach to anticipating needs and resolving issues.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Nice to have

• At least one year of Associate Vendor Manager or Vendor Management experience.
• Experience recruiting localization professionals for specific languages and specialties.
• Market research skills.
• Knowledge of Vendor Management databases, software, or systems.
