Global Controller (Robotics)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid

hirify.global deploys autonomous systems on heavy construction equipment to improve job-site safety and accelerate critical infrastructure projects.

What you will do

• Lead GL, revenue recognition, AP/AR, payroll, consolidations, and equity accounting.
• Drive timely monthly closes and prepare internal and external financial statements under US GAAP.
• Build scalable accounting systems, third-party integrations, revenue data pipelines, ledger mappings, and reconciliation workflows.
• Optimize procure-to-pay processes and implement new purchasing software.
• Partner with FP&A, Product, Engineering, tax, legal, and compliance teams on reporting, automation, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Support board and investor reporting, technical accounting memos, scenario planning, and preparation for future SOX and public-company standards.

Requirements

• 15+ years of accounting or finance experience, including leadership in a high-growth company.
• Public accounting experience; Big Four background strongly preferred.
• CPA certification and deep knowledge of US GAAP required.
• Experience with product-linked revenue such as interchange, lending, deposits, and fees.
• Experience building accounting teams, processes, and systems in a scale-up environment.
• Experience with ERP, BI, procure-to-pay systems, Stripe, Mercury, or similar tools, plus strong cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, vehicles, hardware, industrial automation, or construction accounting.
• Experience in a Series B–D company.
