Senior Warehouse Operations Manager

Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Clifton, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $117,000–$138,000 base salary per year, plus potential discretionary bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead inbound, outbound, inventory, quality control, and daily warehouse operations across two facilities.
• Optimize workflows, performance metrics, capacity, labor planning, and peak-period coverage.
• Recruit, coach, schedule, and develop supervisors, leads, and warehouse associates.
• Manage WMS processes, inventory accuracy, physical counts, system reconciliation, layouts, equipment maintenance, and operational improvements.
• Ensure warehousing, shipping, OSHA, security, and safety compliance while maintaining continuous shift coverage.
• Manage operating costs, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to improve profitability and productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of warehouse or fulfillment experience in high-volume or fast-paced environments.
• 10+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with WMS, inventory control, cycle counting, labor planning, scheduling, and workforce optimization.
• Demonstrated success reducing labor costs or improving productivity metrics, with advanced Excel and strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including OSHA requirements.
