Director of International Benefits

Location: Milpitas, California, United States; expected to be on-site in San Jose a few days per week

Salary: $186,900–$317,800 per year

What you will do

• Define and lead the international benefits strategy across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, with strong emphasis on APAC markets.
• Design, implement, and optimize health and welfare, retirement, leave, and wellbeing programs for diverse regional requirements.
• Guide regional Total Rewards leaders and HR partners while collaborating with People Operations, Payroll, Legal, Finance, Communications, and external vendors.
• Scale global benefits operations, establish performance metrics and dashboards, and deliver executive reporting.
• Lead benefits technology integration and optimization, including HRIS and vendor platforms such as Workday.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, organizational transformations, market benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in benefits design and international Total Rewards, preferably in a complex multinational organization.
• Executive-level leadership experience in a global, matrixed organization with strong stakeholder-management skills.
• Deep expertise in international benefits design and administration, including significant APAC experience.
• Experience leading international benefits transformations, systems integration, process standardization, and programs across multiple geographies.
• Knowledge of HRIS and benefits technology platforms; Workday experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent business acumen, communication, executive presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
