Senior Manager, Engineering (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers.
• Plan, execute, and deliver engineering projects within timeline, budget, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with product management, design, manufacturing, data science, marketing, sales, and client relationship teams.
• Define engineering strategies aligned with business objectives and drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage resource allocation, workload prioritization, staffing needs, and project performance metrics.
• Represent engineering in discussions with clients, stakeholders, senior leadership, and executive management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of engineering leadership experience managing teams and delivering complex projects.
• Strong project management, prioritization, resource allocation, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to translate business objectives into actionable engineering plans and initiatives.
• Experience with relevant software tools, project management methodologies, engineering standards, and compliance requirements.
• Commitment to ethical standards, diversity and inclusion, integrity, and accountability.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of experience in the fintech industry.
• Advanced degree such as a Master’s or Ph.D.
