Engineering Manager, Funds (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid in-office model with at least 2 days per week in the office

Salary: $240,000+ annual base salary, plus benefits and equity

What you will do

• Own outcomes for the Full Service and Institutional Funds engineering teams.
• Manage 7+ engineers across teams at different stages of maturity.
• Build toward a unified Funds product while maintaining separate team structures.
• Lead the combined product direction and identify opportunities to consolidate product surfaces.
• Partner with accounting, tax, customer relations, Product, and Design to create a coherent customer experience.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of engineering management experience.
• Experience hiring and developing senior engineering talent.
• Track record of shipping customer-facing products.
• Experience working in high-compliance, high-stakes environments where financial accuracy is critical.
• Startup experience and comfort operating with ambiguity.
• Willingness to work from the San Francisco engineering hub at least 2 days per week.
