Senior Engineer Failure Analysis (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Conduct detailed failure analysis of wafer and package samples using SIMS, Auger, XPS, 4PB, nano-indentation, XRD, and other analytical tools.
• Interpret analytical data, prepare reports, and document failure findings and root causes.
• Maintain failure analysis operating procedures, training materials, and certification specifications.
• Provide failure analysis support to Fab Operations and Technology Development for process characterization, monitoring, yield improvement, line issues, and customer-returned failures.
• Develop new failure analysis techniques for emerging semiconductor technologies.
• Maintain equipment, laboratory safety, housekeeping, and Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or science.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SIMS, Auger, XPS, and other failure analysis techniques.
• Strong interest in integrated-circuit failure analysis.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams with strong interpersonal skills.
