Equipment Engineering Manager (Semiconductor Dry Etch, PVD, CVD)

Location: Singapore; travel required up to 25% of the time; relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Own equipment performance, availability, uptime, and reliability metrics across Dry Etch, CVD, and PVD toolsets.
• Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures, recurring defects, process excursions, chamber matching issues, and particle performance challenges.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and partner with spare parts, logistics, and support organizations to maintain equipment readiness.
• Support equipment installation, qualification, engineering evaluations, hardware upgrades, and productivity improvement projects.
• Lead, mentor, and develop equipment engineers and technicians, including shift coverage, training, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Drive productivity, cost reduction, 6S, EHS compliance, and operational excellence initiatives while monitoring equipment and customer KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• At least 8 years of semiconductor equipment experience with team leadership or technician supervision.
• Strong technical expertise in Dry Etch, CVD, or PVD, including sputter deposition.
• Experience with equipment installation, qualification, troubleshooting, maintenance, and reliability engineering.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and high-volume fab operations.
• Experience leading engineers and technicians, with proficiency in RCA methodologies, SPC, FMEA, data-driven problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management.
