IT Systems Engineer III

What you will do

• Own IT projects end to end, focusing on secure integration and automation across third-party SaaS platforms.
• Manage Level 3 IT helpdesk escalations and act as the escalation point for the managed service provider.
• Drive SOC 2 Type II and potentially HITRUST readiness, security improvements, and the IT roadmap.
• Manage IT vendor relationships, service-level performance, compliance, security, and budgets.
• Collaborate with Engineering, People, Legal & Compliance, clinicians, and other technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Improve systems through code reviews, quality assurance, debugging, maintenance, refactoring, and iterative delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, preferably including work at a growth-stage company.
• Hands-on experience with SCIM, SAML, security systems, ITSM, IdP/IAM, MDM, organizational units, directory structures, IT automation, and reporting.
• Ability to own complex projects, solve technical problems independently, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in a regulated or secure industry; healthcare, telehealth, and HIPAA knowledge are highly beneficial.
• Strong time management, prioritization, delegation, estimation, collaboration, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Experience using AI tools to automate work and shipping IT integrations.
