AI Strategist

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or New York, with 3+ days per week in-office from Tuesday through Thursday. Travel up to 50% required.

Base salary: $150,000–$250,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and level; eligible for equity and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Lead customer engagements from discovery and problem definition through delivery, adoption, and iteration.
• Analyze complex customer workflows and enterprise data to identify valuable applications for AI.
• Own business outcomes, system quality, model accuracy, and customer value.
• Lead a team of engineers and researchers jointly with a technical lead.
• Build relationships with end users and executive stakeholders while earning customer trust.
• Onboard users, gather product feedback, and drive improvements to enterprise applications and platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex projects or providing strategic leadership in client-facing AI or technology integration roles.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively between clients and internal teams.
• Strong user empathy, customer focus, and the ability to identify critical problems in ambiguous situations.
• Passion for AI and its potential to create real-world impact.
• Programming, scripting, or statistical package experience, such as Python, R, Matlab, or SQL.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from San Francisco or New York and travel up to 50%.
