Deployment Strategist, New Business

Location: New York City hybrid environment, with 3+ days per week in the office and up to 25% customer travel

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Lead 3–6 month implementations for new municipal customers, including onboarding, requirements gathering, workflow design, and go-live.
• Manage complex projects involving multiple municipal stakeholders, timelines, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary customer contact during implementation and support adoption through handoff to the Long-term Deployment Team.
• Identify workflow gaps and product limitations and translate customer insights into actionable feedback for product and engineering.
• Troubleshoot issues in real time and coordinate with internal teams to resolve blockers.
• Standardize implementation processes and improve deployment playbooks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in project management, implementation, consulting, or a similar client-facing role involving complex projects and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong project management, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple timelines, learn new systems and workflows quickly, and work effectively in ambiguous situations.
• Customer-facing communication skills and an execution-oriented approach.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
