Strategic Project Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York or Toronto GTA

Compensation: $140K–$180K total wage range, including base salary and on-target incentives where applicable; equity and other benefits may also be offered. Compensation is region-specific.

Builds data infrastructure for robotics and embodied AI, including data capture, data labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows for AI labs and robotics companies.

What you will do

• Own critical projects end-to-end, from initial request and scoping through execution, delivery, and completion.
• Define requirements and timelines, coordinate execution across operations, engineering, product, and customer stakeholders, and manage project communication.
• Deliver projects on time, at the required quality, at scale, and in line with customer expectations and SLAs.
• Monitor throughput, timelines, output quality, and project performance; identify risks, bottlenecks, and blockers and drive operational improvements.
• Translate ambiguous requests into clear execution plans and systems while balancing speed, quality, cost, and prioritization tradeoffs.
• Improve workflows and systems so projects scale effectively as volume increases.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in product, operations, consulting, or program management.
• Proven ability to own projects end-to-end and manage complex, multi-team, high-stakes projects.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.
• Strong organizational, execution, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort working with data in spreadsheets and modern AI tools to analyze program performance.
• Strong prioritization and tradeoff judgment, with an understanding of technical system constraints.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and fast-changing environments, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm under pressure.
• Product-minded approach with strong judgment about what matters most and a reliable, structured execution style.
