Strategic Project Lead

Location: New York, on-site

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own high-priority projects end-to-end, from initial request and scoping through execution, delivery, and completion.
• Define requirements and timelines, coordinate execution, and ensure deliverables meet quality, schedule, and customer expectations.
• Work across data labeling operations, data capture workflows, engineering teams, and customer stakeholders.
• Monitor throughput, timelines, output quality, and SLAs while identifying bottlenecks and driving operational improvements.
• Translate ambiguous requests into clear execution plans and scalable systems, applying product judgment to prioritization and tradeoffs.
• Manage project communication, expectations, risks, timelines, and deliverables for internal teams and external customers.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in product, operations, consulting, or program management.
• Proven ability to own projects end-to-end and manage complex, multi-team, high-stakes projects.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.
• Strong organizational, execution, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort working with data in spreadsheets and modern AI tools to analyze program performance.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and understand technical system constraints.
