Onboarding Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid, HQ in San Francisco, California

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end onboarding journey for a high-volume portfolio of merchants through accurate go-live launches.
• Advise founders and finance teams on tax registrations, data transfers, and platform configuration.
• Identify onboarding bottlenecks and collaborate cross-functionally to improve time-to-value.
• Translate customer needs into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering.
• Create documentation, help center content, and internal playbooks for scalable onboarding.
• Troubleshoot data imports and integration settings to ensure accurate financial data flows.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, customer success, or operations.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage 20+ active implementations.
• Ability to explain complex concepts such as tax nexus and API integrations to non-technical users.
• High attention to detail, operational rigor, ownership, and customer focus.
• Comfort working in an ambiguous, rapidly scaling startup environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL, advanced Excel or Sheets, or data migration workflows.
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or e-commerce.
• Experience using AI tools, including LLMs and prompts, to automate manual workflows.
• Experience as an early employee at a fast-growing company.
