Pod Provider (MD/DO) (Primary Care)

Location: Ohio, United States; hybrid schedule with 1–2 days per week in the Cincinnati or Columbus hub clinic and the remainder remote

Salary: $206,250–$275,000 annual

What you will do

• Provide scheduled, walk-in, urgent, and emergent clinical visits in person and virtually across hub, community, and home settings.
• Manage chronic conditions, acute concerns, behavioral health conditions, preventive care, and wellness needs.
• Develop member care plans with interdisciplinary clinical and non-clinical teams and support members throughout their care journeys.
• Conduct follow-up outreach, close quality gaps, complete compliant ICD-10, CPT, and HCC documentation, and finish encounter notes within 48 hours.
• Participate in case conferences, panel management, specialist referrals, and clinical program development.
• Guide complex clinical cases, coach team members, collaborate with and supervise Advanced Practice Clinicians, and maintain collaborative practice agreements.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical college in the United States or Canada, or an unaccredited medical college outside the United States or Canada.
• Current valid license to practice medicine in the state where employed by Cityblock.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar major primary care specialty.
• 3+ years of direct clinical care experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and current Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers.
• Medical clearance is required, including immunity evidence for MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella and a TB screen, unless an approved medical or religious accommodation applies.
