College Intern – R&D Mechanical Engineer

What you will do

• Support the R&D team in printer product development.
• Document design rules across different areas of mechanical product design.
• Design mechanical printer parts using CAD software and take designs from intent through prototype development.
• Use simulation and artificial intelligence software to evaluate design robustness.
• Optimize machine settings and test specifications to improve yield and reduce cycle time.
• Develop loss functions and use statistical testing to validate specifications and filter defects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical product design.
• Strong analytical thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to commit to a full-time internship for 5–6 months from January 2027.
• Passion for hands-on projects.

Nice to have

• Mechanical drawing skills using CAD software.
