Testchip Design & Implementation Intern (AI and Automation)

What you will do

• Research practical applications of AI, generative AI, agentic AI, and automation for Testchip Design & Implementation projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve knowledge-base organization, access, and insight extraction.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand workflow requirements, assess solutions, and refine implementation approaches.
• Contribute recommendations for AI-powered knowledge-management and digital-transformation initiatives.
• Document findings and present progress, insights, and recommendations.
• Follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Remain in good academic standing throughout the internship.
• Available to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Demonstrate written and verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python, R, C++, JavaScript, SKILL, TCL, PERL, or SVRF.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, or Copilot.
• Prior internship or co-op experience and demonstrated leadership experience.
• Project-management skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and execute innovative solutions.
• Strong interest in AI tools and emerging technologies for productivity, workflow improvement, and decision-making.
