Design Enablement Engineer Intern (Silicon Photonics)

What you will do

• Perform optical and electrical testing of silicon photonic devices at chip and wafer levels.
• Execute test plans and accurately collect, record, and document measurement data.
• Analyze test results and prepare summaries, charts, and reports for engineering and project teams.
• Troubleshoot test-related issues and investigate measurement anomalies with engineers.
• Maintain laboratory test setups, equipment, and testing environments.
• Support automated test solutions, data collection tools, test workflows, and additional engineering projects.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field.
• Good academic standing.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Available for a 16–24 week credit-bearing internship commencing January 2027.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
