Modeling & Simulation Intern (Additive Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support R&D simulation projects related to design for additive manufacturing and product optimization.
• Perform finite element analysis and fluid flow analysis under the supervision of the engineering team.
• Validate simulation results against experimental data.
• Collaborate with product development teams to understand design requirements and challenges.
• Discuss, propose, and present engineering solutions to technical and management teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Good understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanical design.
• Strong CAD skills using tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, SpaceClaim, Rhino 3D, or nTopology.
• Experience with FEM or CFD using Ansys, Abaqus, COMSOL, or similar software, and/or with topology optimization.
• Positive attitude toward work and passion for simulation-driven design.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of computational design, machine learning, additive manufacturing, or coding with Python or C++.
