Digital Engineering & Simulation Intern (AI)

What you will do

• Support R&D projects focused on Design for Additive Manufacturing, product optimization, and simulation-based quantitative analysis.
• Contribute to AI-enabled engineering initiatives for design optimization, workflow efficiency, and data-driven engineering decision-making.
• Perform finite element and fluid flow analyses as required.
• Validate simulation results against experimental data and collaborate with product development teams on design requirements and challenges.
• Discuss, propose, and present engineering solutions to engineering and management teams.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and engineering recommendations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Applied Physics.
• Good understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanical design.
• Excellent CAD skills, using tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, SpaceClaim, Rhino 3D, or nTopology.
• Experience with FEM, CFD using Ansys, Abaqus, COMSOL, OpenFOAM, or similar programs, and/or topology optimization.
• Knowledge of computational design, machine learning, additive manufacturing, and coding in Python, C++, or similar languages.
• Good attitude toward work and a passion for simulation-driven design.
