Testsite Engineer Intern (Jan-Jun 2027)

What you will do

• Understand Hotwell designs, test structures, and SLM macros.
• Analyze Hotwell designs to evaluate design characteristics and identify optimization opportunities.
• Support the layout design and development of test structures and testsite components.
• Develop and update EDA code for automated test structure generation with ML/AI support.
• Consolidate and maintain existing code and the test chip database.
• Promote design reusability to improve layout development efficiency.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field through an accredited program.
• Good academic standing.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Availability for a 16–24 week credit-bearing internship commencing in January 2027.

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, or competitions.
• Project management skills, including innovation, execution, and navigating ambiguity.
