Software Engineer in Test (QA Automation)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid work with 3 days per week at the Paris office

What you will do

• Work with product and development teams to continuously test new product features.
• Support development teams as co-owners of feature-related tests and drive test adoption.
• Implement and maintain automated end-to-end and performance tests.
• Integrate tests into the continuous deployment pipeline and maintain the related tooling.
• Implement custom testing tools and document precise bug reports.
• Promote test automation, quality assurance, and continuous integration best practices across engineering.

Requirements

• Fluent English required.
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance engineering.
• Proficiency with a modern end-to-end testing framework such as Playwright or Cypress.
• Ability to write and help developers define clear bugs.
• Significant experience implementing and maintaining continuous integration jobs with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar tools.
• Experience with web-based SaaS products deployed through continuous deployment, plus strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing performance and other specialized testing types.
• Programming experience with TypeScript or Python.
• Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Fluency in French.

Hiring process

• Interview with the future manager.
• Technical interview with the team, including live exercises.
