What you will do

• Lead quality-related planning and execution within a cross-functional engineering team.
• Design and develop scalable automated test frameworks using open-source tools.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and improve delivery processes.
• Perform both automated and exploratory testing for web, mobile, and backend services.
• Mentor colleagues to foster a strong culture of quality and best testing practices.
• Manage performance and load testing initiatives for complex microservices architecture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing.
• Must be based in Portugal, France, or the UK.
• Proven ability to design test strategies for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Proficiency in coding with languages such as TypeScript, Java, Ruby, or Python.
• Extensive experience with tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing tools such as k6 or Gatling.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud architecture.
• Previous experience in high-load distributed environments.
