HSE & Facility Senior Manager

Location: Opfikon, Zurich, Switzerland; onsite at least four days per week

What you will do

• Define and implement the global HSSE strategy, standards, and policies across all company locations.
• Own and continuously improve safety programs for production, testing, construction, and corporate workplaces.
• Manage regulatory engagement, executive safety reporting, and improvement actions using performance indicators such as LTIR and TRIR.
• Lead facility management and workplace operations at the Opfikon headquarters, while sharing best practices with other locations.
• Manage facility and HSE stakeholders, contractors, vendors, budgets, and commercial contracts.
• Lead and coach HSSE and Facilities Management teams and ensure alignment between safety standards and workplace execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• More than 10 years of HSSE leadership experience in industrial, energy, or process environments.
• Expertise in corporate workplace, construction, and production safety, with a focus on health and well-being.
• Familiarity with COHS standards and experience with budgeting and cost control.
• Strong strategic, operational, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including contractor, vendor, and facility operations management.
• Fluent German and English; willingness to travel approximately 10%, including to Iceland and testing facilities.
