Senior Director, Global EH&S INB (Biotech)

What you will do

• Lead global EHS strategy, governance, policies, standards, and performance frameworks for the Integrated Biologics platform.
• Provide functional leadership in process safety and ensure regulatory and legal compliance across the global site network.
• Lead and develop a global matrix team of EHS experts and managers, embedding harmonized practices across facilities.
• Develop EHS programs and risk mitigation strategies with site, platform, operations, and corporate stakeholders.
• Support customer audits, steer incident investigations and corrective action plans, and analyze global EHS performance trends.
• Advise senior executive leaders on safety, regulatory requirements, operational risk, CapEx planning, insurance costs, and enterprise risk exposure.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in chemical or biological manufacturing and/or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Several years of experience in EHS and leadership, operations, or general management.
• University degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering.
• Deep understanding of biological, chemical, and pharmaceutical manufacturing, including cGMP and advanced safety practices.
• Executive-level communication, presentation, stakeholder management, analytical, strategic thinking, coaching, and change management skills.
• Experience working across diverse regions and cultures in complex global matrix environments, with proficiency in digital EHS tools and systems.

Nice to have

• Safety Engineer qualification or similar safety training and education.
