What you will do

• Conduct research on quantum algorithms for biology, finance, chemistry, and optimization.
• Develop and implement quantum algorithms using early fault-tolerant protocols and error correction or detection primitives.
• Estimate end-to-end quantum algorithm resources under realistic hardware constraints.
• Communicate research results through internal collaboration, scientific publications, and conference presentations.
• Engage with academic, industry, and client partners on quantum computing projects.

Requirements

• PhD in physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
• Research experience in quantum algorithms.
• Expertise in quantum algorithm design and optimization, realistic quantum hardware noise models, quantum error correction, or partially fault-tolerant protocols.
• Research publications in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience implementing quantum algorithms on simulators or quantum hardware.
• Programming skills in Python and tools such as pytket or Qiskit.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of quantum computing and quantum algorithm design.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
