What you will do

• Develop new protocols for distributed quantum error correction.
• Benchmark designs and protocols using numerical simulations.
• Collaborate with a team of theorists, programmers, and experimental physicists.
• Communicate research findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent the company at conferences and through publications and patents.

Requirements

• PhD in quantum computing or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven track record of high-quality publications.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Must be able to work on-site in Cambridge, UK.

Nice to have

• Research experience specifically in quantum error correction.
• Experience with quantum programming languages like Qiskit or Cirq.
• Background in classical or quantum networks.
