AI Strategy Team Lead

Location: On-site at the Union Square office in New York City, United States

Salary: $180,000–$280,000 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Lead and develop the AI Strategy team, setting quality standards and building repeatable frameworks and playbooks.
• Review SQL analyses, validate conclusions, and maintain analytical integrity across the research function.
• Advise Fortune 500 customers as the senior strategic voice, working directly with CMOs, VPs of SEO, and VPs of AEO.
• Analyze LLM behavior, prompt patterns, and brand visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude.
• Build prompt-level datasets with SQL and use LLM workflows to classify, cluster, and synthesize unstructured data.
• Produce executive-ready insights, contribute to AEO thought leadership, and identify opportunities for commercial growth.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in client-facing strategy, analytics, or deployment, including at least 2 years leading a team or function.
• Experience reporting directly to C-suite executives and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Deep SQL fluency, including writing queries, reviewing others’ work, and identifying data integrity issues.
• Experience building analytics dashboards with tools such as Retool, Tableau, or Looker.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and LLM-based workflows, such as Cursor or LLM pipelines.
• High ownership, strong communication skills, curiosity, and experience creating structure in ambiguous, high-growth environments.

Nice to have

• Background in deployment strategy, technical account management, program management, product strategy or operations, SEO, or AEO.
