Strategy and Operations Manager / Senior Manager (AI)

Location: New York City; on-site, with in-person office work required 4–5 days per week. Travel is required approximately once per month for around three days. Relocation packages are available.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 for the Manager role or $190,000–$250,000 for the Senior Manager role, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and scale core parts of the deployment motion, including scoping methodology, migration readiness, and the product requirements pipeline.
• Analyze engagement data, retrospectives, and direct observations to identify drivers of deployment timelines, costs, and quality.
• Model future operating needs at several times the current volume and identify constraints that require early investment.
• Set priorities, timelines, and success metrics, then drive execution across Product, Engineering, Partnerships, and Delivery.
• Lead one or two customer-facing engagements to validate deployment systems and recommendations.
• Translate engagement patterns into product roadmap requirements and help hire, onboard, and ramp the deployment team.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management, and/or founder or operator roles at high-growth startups.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience designing and establishing processes or systems that continue working after handoff.
• Strong technical intuition demonstrated through a STEM degree or equivalent technical background.
• Ability to own complex projects end-to-end, exercise sound judgment, and operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders.
