Lead Business Analyst (AI)

Location: San Francisco, hybrid

Salary: $160K–$217K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Partner with leaders across product, growth, marketing, finance, and leadership to frame ambiguous business questions and deliver rigorous analysis.
• Connect marketing budgets, spend efficiency, channel performance, revenue forecasts, and business planning.
• Analyze unit economics, growth drivers, and the relationship between B2C and B2B businesses.
• Prepare board- and business-review-level analysis and synthesize business performance into clear recommendations.
• Define and govern core company metrics as a single source of truth.
• Partner with Finance on LTV, CAC, payback, NRR, and segmented consumer and enterprise analytics while advancing self-serve and AI-assisted analytics.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, or business/finance analytics, with measurable influence on business decisions.
• Advanced SQL and strong experience with modern analytics tools; familiarity with dbt or semantic layers.
• Hands-on experience using AI or LLM tools for data synthesis, hypothesis generation, and productivity improvement.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including LTV, CAC, payback, NRR, and revenue recognition.
• Ability to frame ambiguous questions, develop a point of view, and communicate persuasively with technical and non-technical leadership.
• Ownership mindset and ability to turn insights into decisions and measurable impact.

• Experience partnering with Finance on unit-economics methodology.
• Experience across both consumer B2C and enterprise B2B businesses.
• Background in consumer subscriptions, edtech, or language learning.
