Claim Team Manager - Property Field Inspection

Location: Des Moines, Iowa; candidates should reside within a commutable distance of the assigned territory. This is a remote-field role involving work from home, use of a mobile office/vehicle, and in-person property appointments.

Salary: $107,000–$142,000 annually, plus potential yearly incentive pay of up to 24% of base salary.

What you will do

• Lead, hire, train, coach, and manage the performance of assigned claims personnel.
• Review and control claim investigations, claim payments, and adjustment expense payments.
• Coordinate and implement company programs, policies, practices, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and legal requirements.
• Promote employee development within an inclusive environment and maintain a customer-focused operation.

Requirements

• Effective written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated leadership behaviors.
• Physical agility to lift, carry, climb ladders, navigate roofs at various heights, and crawl in tight spaces during residential and commercial inspections.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to complete required training, applicable proficiency and licensing examinations, Motor Vehicle Record checks, and background checks.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, or irregular hours as business needs require.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Claims operations or call center experience.
• Prior leadership experience.
• Experience with Xactimate or XactContents.
