What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy secure infrastructure in an Amazon Web Services cloud environment.
• Provide security engineering support for endpoint security, intrusion detection, SIEM, and virtual private cloud environments.
• Plan, design, and implement tools and methods that meet federal security control requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise throughout the system development lifecycle.
• Participate in strategic planning and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10 years of full-time security engineering experience, including some support for federal government customers.
• 4 years of experience deploying cloud security solutions such as SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS, or endpoint security.
• VMware experience.
• Experience deploying security solutions for federal organizations and knowledge of FISMA, NIST, and related federal frameworks.
• Understanding of IT management, administration, applications, and system development lifecycles in a substantial IT environment.
